Neem Tree Extract (20mL)

$7.00

Neem Tree Extract (or tincture) is made using the powdered leaves, twigs and seeds from Australian Neem Trees grown in North Queensland.

Description

The extract is made in TGA approved premises and 1mL contains equivalent 200mL of plant.

Over the centuries Neem has been used in Ayurvedic medicines in India. The bark of the Neem Tree is considered just as effective as the leaves in its healing abilities. Research has found that ‘Polysaccharides in Neem bark extracts have been found to possess anti-tumor and interferon inducing as well as anti-inflammatory activities’ (Van der NAT et al.1991). The immune stimulatory property of Neem bark might be the underlying factor in the general stimulating and skin healing properties of Neem.

Suggested uses for Neem Tree Extract:
Psoriasis; dermatitis, allergies, chicken pox, skin rashes, and inflammation.
Abrasions, cuts, scarring, sun spots and on insect bites.

As a spray for plants you can dilute at a ratio of 1:20 but you need to add a small amount of wetting agent/detergent/soap.

Neem Tree Extract can be used directly onto the skin but is advisable to do a test patch first. Commence with a dilution rate of 1 part Neem to 20 parts water and build up to using it without any dilution.

It is handy to make up into a spray bottle 50:50 or to use direct onto the skin before venturing outside when those annoying insects are about.

A few drops in an oil burner are handy both inside the house and outside – It has no smell so you can still use your essential oils for perfume.

Men should try it as an aftershave and see what it does for the skin.

Remember, Neem is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, antiseptic, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic. (John Conrick – The ultimate Herb).

In India the Neem Tree is referred to and known as ‘The Wonder Tree’ and ‘The Village Pharmacy’.
